Recorded Lesson Resources
We offer students/parents the option to receive a pre-recorded lesson when they are unable to attend their weekly private lesson.
Why is this good for students / parents?
1. Learning progress continues even when a student is absent.
2. Parents need flexibility when they need to be absent for a lesson.
3. The high quality of the lesson content is the same as when the student attends.
Why is this good for teachers?
1. No make ups scheduled outside of your regular teaching days.
2. Reduction in students withdrawing because of short term absences.
3. Easy to use system to upload digital lesson content which is sent directly, and securely, to the parent.
Please begin with the exercise below to familiarize yourself with the process and technology system. Below is a task to get you started and attached is a guide for teachers.
Select one of your students (ideally young beginner), or a fictitious student between the ages of 7-11 who is half way through their first method book. Create a sample digital lesson package for them for their next lesson. Please focus on providing materials which will help them come to their lesson in two weeks.
STEP 1 Create any video content using Quicktime on the lesson room computer (Document cameras available at the front desk)
STEP 2 Upload video to your Google Drive (Please create a folder for yourself if you have not already)
STEP 3 Upload copyright free music, worksheets, exercises, and tutorials to Google Drive
