Guitar lesson instructors at Medina School of Music teach rock, blues, metal, country and classical styles on electric guitar, acoustic guitar, ukulele, and bass guitar. Our guitar teachers incorporate the fundamentals of music, theory, and sight reading in to the songs you enjoy. Beginners can expect to work on simple songs and melodies, basic chords, music fundamentals, and end with something fun like a new riff or jamming with a song you bring on your device.

Our teachers are fun and have warm personalities. They enjoy sharing their joy for playing guitar with you!

Ages five and up.

We choose beautiful family friendly locations for our performances.

4. Celebrate Music Lesson Achievement with Wristbands, Certificates, and Trophies.

There is nothing better than seeing the smile on a students face when they receive their wristband or trophy for passing a fun and low pressure music challenge. We license the nationwide Musical Ladder® system used by hundreds of music schools across the nation and a proven way of motivating music students. More importantly, students practice more when we have a music challenge coming up. This makes them proud, their parents proud, and their teachers proud. Everyone wins!

Whether you are in school, home schooled, have a full time work schedule, or would like to squeeze in guitar lessons during an afternoon break from work or homeschooling, we can accommodate. All lessons are month-to-month with no long term contract!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

WHAT DO YOU LEARN IN GUITAR LESSONS?

This is often asked by prospective students. Our teachers make it a priority to get to know you on a personal level and to become familiar with your individual goals and interests.

We explore the needs of each student as an individual and create a plan to ensure success and enjoyment.

A five year old taking guitar lessons for the first time will have very different needs than a fifty three year old taking piano lessons again after having lessons as a kid.

If you enroll here for guitar or ukulele lessons, we will work with you to create a plan for your unique needs. During your first lesson your teacher will ask about any goals you have for your guitar lessons, what type of music you like, and your aspirations as a guitar player.

WHAT STYLES OF MUSIC DO YOU TEACH IN GUITAR LESSONS?

We teach all styles from pop, rock , jazz, country, blues, and classical in our guitar lessons.

ARE YOUR GUITAR and UKULELE TEACHERS QUALIFIED?

Our teachers have degrees from some of the most reputable colleges and universities such as the University of Minnesota, University of Arizona, Northern Arizona University, Luther College, St. Olaf College, Concordia College, Shenadoah University, Catholic University, Berklee College of Music and more. Many of our teachers have performed and toured nationally and internationally. More importantly, all of our teachers have warm personalities, friendly personalities, and strive to get to know each student as individuals.
