Is your 4, 5, or 6 year old showing interest in music? Piano group class is a fantastic way for them to explore learning a musical instrument. This class combines social learning, piano instruction, and musical play in a wholesome family friendly environment. We move between learning activities at three to five minute intervals to keep students engaged. No experience is necessary for these fun and engaging piano classes.
Deciding between group lessons and individual private lessons? The Piano Group Class is the perfect segue to private lessons. Our experience has shown us that students in this age group tend to all progress at similar rates. Classes include group and individual activities, both at the piano and “off the bench”, using best practices for teaching musical concepts at this age level. Combing fun social learning with keyboard skill development!
Preschool Piano Adventure: Group Class For 4-5 Year Olds

Preschool Piano Adventure is a 12-week beginner piano class specifically designed for students age 4-5 with no musical experience. Piano group classes for four and five year olds are 45 minutes weekly. This fun class combines social learning, piano instruction, and musical play in a family friendly environment. Using fun reading and rhythm games that provide a holistic learning approach, students will develop a foundation of aural perception, physical coordination, and visual recognition for note reading. Skills unfold while we engage the child’s inherent love of music and provide them with a well-built track toward private lessons.
Skills taught include keyboard performance, listening, pitch matching, keyboard technique, singing, rhythm, movement, and music appreciation. One parent per student is required during the lesson.
Children are encouraged to be able to read numbers one through five and letters A through G. Parents are required to attend. Sessions will run for twelve weeks. Registration fee does not apply. Course Materials are included.
My First Piano Adventure: Group Class For 5-6 Year Olds

My First Piano Adventure Group Class - Summer is an 8 week beginner piano class specifically designed for students age 5-6 with no musical experience. Piano group classes are 45 minutes weekly. Students will learn to play simple tunes on the piano. Each lesson will include singing, keyboard playing, note reading, rhythm ensembles, ear training and homework.
Our expert teachers guide students using the world-renowned and best-selling Piano Adventures method by Nancy and Randall Faber. We are excited to offer this class in direct partnership and collaboration with the founding authors and designers at the Faber Institute.
This fun class combines social learning, piano instruction, and musical play in a family friendly environment. Children must be able to read numbers one through five and letters A through G. Parents welcome to attend though not required. This is the perfect segue to private piano lessons. Registration fee does not apply. Faber Piano Adventure Book is included.
Piano or keyboard for home practice is highly recommended. Rentals available.

Do I need a piano at home?
Yes, a simply piano/keyboard, with 60 keys or more is all you need. Weekly activities will be assigned which require access to a piano or keyboard outside of class. Rental instruments are available upon request.
What happens if I miss a class?
No makeups are provided. Each class content builds sequentially.
Which do I choose if my child is 5?
Either! 5 year olds can choose between the two piano group classes. Younger 5 year olds may want to choose the Preschool Piano class and older 5 year olds may want to choose the My Piano Adventure class, but either will be a great fit! Is this a good fit for my 6 year old?
6 year olds can choose between the piano group class or individual private lessons. Younger 6 year olds may want to choose the piano group class. Private piano lessons are personalized to each child’s level and is perfect for many 6 year olds.
