If you have always wanted to be a better rock, pop, musical theater, country, jazz, gospel, R&B, or classical singer, then we have the right voice lessons for you. Voice lesson teachers at the Medina School of Music teach a variety of styles from pop to classical. Our voice teachers incorporate the fundamentals of music, theory, and sight reading in to the songs you enjoy. Voice lesson students spend time each week doing physical exercises to improve their vocal range, ear training, breath control, vibrato, tone production, enunciation and more.

Our teachers are fun and have warm personalities. They enjoy sharing their joy of singing with you and helping you realize the benefits of becoming a music student at the Medina School of Music!

3. Free Recitals at Family Friendly Locations!

Every parent wants to know if their investment in voice lessons at Medina School of Music is worth it. The best way to see if your child is truly progressing is by watching them perform in a recital. Many of our students choose to perform in our June and January recitals. Invite the whole family because unlike many other schools and studios in the Twin Cities, there is no charge for the student to participate and we do not charge admission. We choose beautiful family friendly locations for our performances.

4. Celebrate Music Lesson Achievement with Wristbands, Certificates, and Trophies.

There is nothing better than seeing the smile on a students face when they receive their wristband or trophy for passing a fun and low pressure music challenge. We license the nationwide Musical Ladder® system used by hundreds of music schools across the nation and a proven way of motivating music students. More importantly, students practice more when we have a music challenge coming up. This makes them proud, their parents proud, and their teachers proud. Everyone wins!

5. Adults and Kids are Welcome!

We offer "Full Service" voice lessons for adults and kids alike. Whether you are in school, home schooled, have a full time work schedule, or would like to squeeze in voice lessons during an afternoon break from work or homeschooling, we can accommodate. All lessons are month-to-month with no long term contract!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

WHAT DO YOU LEARN IN VOICE LESSONS?

This is often asked by prospective students. Our teachers make it a priority to get to know you on a personal level and to become familiar with your individual goals and interests.

We explore the needs of each student as an individual and create a plan to ensure success and enjoyment.

A five year old taking voice lessons for the first time will have very different needs than a fifty three year old taking piano lessons again after having lessons as a kid.

If you enroll here for voice lessons, we will work with you to create a plan for your unique needs. During your first lesson your teacher will ask about any goals you have for your voice lessons, what type of music you like, and your aspirations as a singer.

WHAT STYLES OF MUSIC DO YOU TEACH IN VOICE LESSONS?

We teach all styles from musical theatre, pop, rock , jazz, country, blues, and classical in our voice lessons.

ARE YOUR VOICE TEACHERS QUALIFIED?

Our teachers have degrees from some of the most reputable colleges and universities such as the University of Minnesota, University of Arizona, Northern Arizona University, Luther College, St. Olaf College, Concordia College, Shenadoah University, Catholic University, and more. Many of our teachers have performed and toured nationally and internationally. More importantly, all of our teachers have warm personalities, friendly personalities, and strive to get to know each student as individuals.
